The Digital Services Act (DSA) is a very important issue for Irish start-ups although many of our members may not be fully aware of it or its implications. The DSA, which is likely to be introduced in less than two years, regulates the obligations of digital services that act as intermediaries in connecting consumers with goods, services and content. It basically applies to digital services that transmit, or store third party content - many start-ups will be affected. To help our members navigate this important development and understand their upcoming obligations, Minister of State at the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment, Dara Calleary will be taking part in our second Scale Ireland webinar along with Claire Morrissey, Partner & Head of Data, Commercial & Technology, Maples Group.
